After 2 days of very little knitting, I am happy to report that I am 7.2% finished with Peacock. At this rate, and with very little knitting, I should have the shawl complete in 16 days.
Joan's birthday is right around the corner. I have wound Socks that Rock "Lemongrass" in to a ball and will begin knitting them this weekend. Four hours in the car makes for very good sock knitting time! Start date: 8/18. My socks have been put on hold unless I decide to give them to Joan as well. We'll see.

Don't know how you had the heart to restart the peacock.......isn't there a mental point where you just decide beyond which there will be no ripping.....?
