A Change of Plans.....
The verdict is in....the Wallaby is too pink for a baby boy...so....I will continue to knit the baby blanket. Only 192 rows until it is a 36" square. If I do 4 sets/day....only 24 rows.....I will be done in a little over a week. Sounds like the perfect plan. Better start knitting now so I can knit something fun tonight like Joan's second sock or the white lace shawl!

What a gorgeous color - what is it called and who makes it?

The yarn is Cascade...Bollicine Maxi...70% wool, 30% acrylic...machine washable...and very inexpensive from Webs ; ) Cascade 220 is beautiful so I took a chance with the Maxi - and I am pleased with it. Doesn't feel like inexpensive yarn! Isn't splitty and feels really nice. I would buy it again.
